Walk-In Shower Case Study | Leeds | West Yorkshire
Published: 29 March 2018
Problem:
Mr & Mrs Russo had an existing bathroom that didn’t really work, in terms of the design, due to the fixtures in situ and overall layout. Featuring a large corner bath, that was far too big for the room, the existing suite also featured a run of semi-recessed furniture which created a narrow gap upon entry. Fully tiled in a dado design the floor and wall tiles offered a contrasting colour scheme, which with large, dark, tiles to the floor made the room feel even smaller than it was.
Solution:
Wanting to future proof the refurbishment Mr & Mrs Russo were forthcoming with their criteria of converting the existing bathroom into a stylish shower room. Having set their mind on a walk-in shower solution they were happy for More Bathrooms Designer and Surveyor, Andy, to lead on the overall layout, and remaining fixture choices, with regards to helping them achieve a space enhancing design that incorporated an element of storage.
Outcome:
A complete rip out, rearrange and refit meant a once small and unaccommodating bathroom was transformed into space enhanced and stylish walk-in shower room.
A result of a complete layout redesign, the recently renovated shower room incorporated everything Mr & Mrs Russo had requested, including a large walk-in shower with stylish corian seating area and a run of fitted furniture that housed the semi-recessed basin, concealed cistern WC and created the additional storage as required.
Fully tiled in a modern ditto grey the remaining walls within the shower area were wall boarded in a black sparkle effect panel that not only created a statement feature but also meant the area was easy to maintain.
what mr & mrs russo said about more bathrooms:
“Andy Fisher was a pleasure – very knowledgeable and skilled.”
