Modern Bathroom Case Study | Leeds | More Bathrooms
Published: 1 June 2022
Problem:
Mr. & Mrs. Osmotherley large, dated traditional bathroom consisted of a basin, toilet, bath with a shower head and glass flipper. They also had a large amount of storage in the bathroom.
They wanted to give the bathroom a full revamp from a traditional setting to a modern bathroom and create space for a walk-in shower by removing the storage.
Design Solution:
Having heard of More Bathrooms they got in touch with
us, to gather more information.
Eager to carry on with the process, Mr. and Mrs. Osmotherley proceeded to book a free design appointment for a More Bathrooms designer to visit their home, design, and survey their bathroom.
Mr. & Mrs.Osmotherley were visited by Senior Designer Garry, who further discussed with them in depth their ideas, wants and needs for their new modern bathroom. He then offered his expert advice and guided them on how they could potentially better utilise the bathroom.
Garry then measured the space and used his extensive bathroom knowledge and expertise to create a CAD for the bespoke modern bathroom and replaced the storage in the bathroom with a walk- in shower instead as they had requested.
Happy with the process so far Garry provided Mr. & Mrs. Osmotherley with a quote dependant on their final design and fitting choices.
Garry then invited them back to our Leeds Bathroom Showroom to present them with a CAD design.
The CAD design showed Mr. & Mrs. Osmotherley what their new Bathroom would look in detailed images. Garry also guided them around the showroom to assist them with picking their final fixture and fitting choice for their new space.
Modern Bathroom Installation:
Mr. and Mrs. Osmotherley’s new modern bathroom was fit by our multi-skilled fitter Richard. The bathroom had a rectangular bath installed which also had a cool beige tiling finish round the outside of the bathtub. A huge rectangular mirror hung above the bathtub on the beige tiled wall, which was a consistent feature throughout the bathroom.
Adjacent to the bathroom a stunning white enclosed walk-in shower, with a Corian bench was installed in the bathroom with a cool ceiling hung shower.
A black metallic open-ended tall radiator towel rail was put opposite the end of the shower matching the tall wall hung storage cabinet and storage underneath the rectangular basin that were both part of the bathroom.
The flooring inside the bathroom was redone from a vinyl layout to a stylish grey laminate finish.
Outcome:
A dated traditional bathroom was transformed into a spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower and had modern fixtures throughout the bathroom.
