En-Suite Shower Room Renovation | Wetherby | More Bathrooms

Published: 16 September 2024

Renovation Brief:

Mr. and Mrs. Richardson from Wetherby approached us with the desire to update their large en-suite shower room.

Wanting a modern, functional design that would maximize the space their primary requirements included enhanced storage solutions and concealing all visible pipework.

En-Suite Design:

Under the guidance of our senior designer, Andy, we conducted a thorough onsite design appointment and assessment of the existing space.

Developing a tailored design that incorporated all of the Richardson's’ requirements, the first step in the design process was for Andy to include a bench within the en-suite. This feature provided a comfortable seating area but also allowed us to run the Soil Vent Pipe underneath the bench and redirected it outside, ensuring that the overall aesthetics of the room were maintained without compromising functionality.

To address the request for additional storage, Andy integrated an extensive run of fitted furniture into the design. This storage solution was custom-built to maximise space efficiency, offered ample room for the Richardson's’ belongings while ensuring a maintenance free finish through the concealment of all pipework.

Following the onsite consultation, Mr. and Mrs. Richardson visited our Harrogate Bathroom Showroom. Here, they were able to view detailed 3D CAD visuals and choose the finishing touches while making informed decisions on materials, colours, and fixtures choices under Andy’s expert guidance.

For the walls, we utilised wall boards in the wet area to enhance the visual appeal of the room while also ensuring durability and ease of maintenance. Additionally, a dual-fuel radiator was specified, allowing the Richardson's to dry towels even when the central heating was not in use—an essential feature for all year-round comfort.

En-Suite Installation:

Offering a full bathroom design and fit service, the installation element was smooth and stress free experience, meticulously executed by our multi-skilled fitter, Zbi, who ensured that every detail was attended to according to Andy’s design specification.

Zbi consulted with Mr. and Mrs. Richardson at every stage of the installation, ensuring that their preferences were incorporated throughout the process. The colours and fixtures chosen during their showroom visit were implemented throughout the room, resulting in a space that perfectly reflected their personal style.

Customer Review:

Mr. and Mrs. Richardson were extremely pleased with the entire process, from the initial design by Andy and the survey to the final installation by Zbi. Sharing the following feedback on TrustPilot:

"Great service from initial design, survey, and installation. Always consulted by the fitter, who was excellent, on every aspect of the work. The quality of the work is excellent, and we are delighted with the end result."

Project Summary:

This large en-suite renovation, expertly designed by Andy and skilfully installed by Zbi, successfully transformed the space into a modern, functional, and aesthetically pleasing room that meets all of Mr. and Mrs. Richardson’s needs.

The integration of a bench, additional storage, and a dual-fuel radiator, combined with the client’s choice of colours, resulted in a space that is both practical and beautiful.
