Problem:

Upon moving into a new house Mrs Tolan required a bathroom update that matched her modern style. Her current bathroom was outdated limited in size and had little storage space to put away bathroom amenities. The bathroom consisted of a shower, bath and sink with an adjoining smaller room that consisted of a WC.

Solution:

More Bathrooms Senior Designer Simon visited Mr & Mrs Tolan in their York based home to complete a home survey and design visit. They discussed what improvements could be made to their current bathing suite. Together they decided to knock down the wall between the WC room and bathroom to create more open space.Mrs Tolan visited our Harrogate showroom to view a sample of our designs and fixtures. Simon guided Mrs Tolan through design ideas to give her dated bathroom a contemporary upgrade.

Outcome:

A sleek suite with grey tiling and heated towel rail was created to give the room a modern update. Now bigger in size, a large wet floor shower and bath was installed giving Mrs Tolan’s suite a luxurious feel.A semi-recessed basin and toilet was added to provide extra storage for bathroom amenities, adding to the minimal design of the suite.

“Absolutely delighted with the work done. We needed to amalgamate a bathroom and toilet which involved pulling an internal wall down. We thought there would be a lot of mess but it was kept to a minimum.

Martin, the man who did the bulk of the work, was very efficient, never took a break and rarely needed a cuppa. He was a great worker and a pleasure to have in the house. He had a good support team of experts to call on as this was no easy job.

The final result including plastering and tiling is fantastic. Passmores and More Bathrooms might not be the cheapest company, but you get what you pay for and every penny was worth it. Well done team”
